I was a summer deckhand 1965-1967 on the Ole Miss owned by Valley Towing Company of Greenville, MS owned by Captain Percy LeMay. At that time the Ole Miss carried a matched set of 3 crude oil barges that at the time were the largest barges on the Mississippi. We would load crude in Venice or Port Sulpher, LA to take to Delta Refining Co. on McKellar Lake in Memphis.

I was a deckhand on the MV Steven J Masson. I truly miss my old crew and my home away from home. the work was at times hard but I had a good mate to help show me the ropes. Im realy gona miss all the good food. Thanks Mike Winchester 12/15/07--12/23/08

Love the photos. That Calvin J Stewart boat was named after my dad. I cant believe you guys still have it named that. Thank you for everything you guys did for our family.
