I have really enjoyed looking at the towboat pictures. My husband has been a captain for 35 years and has only worked for two companies, but has run the Betty Musgrove, Wayne Musgrove, Compass Crest, (Compass) Tuskegee, (Compass) Osceola, among his current boat and many others he has tripped for. I have pictures of almost all his boats and love seeing them. Thanks again!

hey! you may not remember me but i talked to you back in june of 2010. My boyfriend was on the m/v Charles B. Holman and is in the picture you have on here! when Ingram sold the Holman he was bounced around to a few boats and has landed (finally...we think) on the m/v Dick Tomayko! I wanted to see pictures of the Dick and i knew just the place to come! :) you do an amazing job with this site and pictures and i just wanted to say thanks again for making it possible to see pictures of my sweet mans "home away from home"!! God Bless!

I need to know what it would take to have the two pics of the M/V Arabian released for reproduction in a tattoo.....She belonged to Western Towing Until Kirby Consolidated now she is the M/V Arabian under Kirby Towing. My father passed in 2005 but he captained that boat for damn near a decade....anything you can tell me would be appreciated...thank you

I really like your site. I was a deckhand on the Martha Lynn for about a year and not a day goes by that I don't wish I was back on the river.

I always sit by the river during the day and either go fishing or watch the barges pass. I always sit on the coast of the Ohio River and wave as the barges pass. I have never gotten anyone to wave back, but the captain of Capt. James Anderson actually came out on to the deck and waved to me and made my day! It sounds silly but a simple hello or being noticed can turn a bad day around, so thank you!
