Comments: What a great picture of the Aggie C. My uncle was Herb Schriener, which is what the Aggie C was originally. I was there when they had the christening party for the Herb Schriener. His wife Mary Lou is still going strong. Great memories. Thanks for sharing.
Comments: Capt. Pat Jamison was a Captain on The Helen Lay at one time. I just saw in the WWJ that she is going to South America. I really hate to see her leave. Capt. Pat and I worked together in Kansas City, Mo. some years back.
Comments: i use to work about this ship. As a deck hand under Captain Jimmy Fine boat and captain I miss it a lot.

Comments: I recently got possession of my late father's pictures. He was a towboat captain for 36 years, mostly on the Illinois River, and primarily on the A.M. Thompson. His name was John Schibrowsky. I have some really vintage photos you might be interested in . . . like going back to the 1940s! I have scanned them all. Please let me know if you are interested. Please contact me if you are.
